Tonight was my last shift working as a psw. It feels heavenly, honest. I have the week off, writing the RN exam on wednesday, and our big LGBT event on Saturday. I don't think I've ever been more excited about something in my life! ok maybe, but still. And I've met some really awesome people though it too. I wish more of them lived near here (Becky is awesome!).

This week:

- Went and looked at an apartment. Fell in love. Going back tomorrow to look again, and hopefully put a deposit down on it.

- Applied for a job tuesday, got a call back wednesday at 9am, interviewed today at 130

- Got a job as a nurse on the Medical Float Resource Team!!!! Means I get to float between 3 different units, depending on which unit is short/ needs me the most!

Actually, I thought I'd be more excited than I am. Maybe its because it doesn't seem real yet? I need to find a job now, shouldn't be too difficult.

meh, I'm bored. Might as well post here too

All done all my papers, all I have left is one exam on monday! It feels so weird to be done school finally, I have to figure out what I like to do. Probably lots of cooking and baking.

Start Tuesday, Lyndsey and I are doing to start "The Biggest Loser: Hailey and Lyndsey Edition" to try to lose weight. We're going to have weekly weigh-ins, and challenges, and a prize to whoever wins after 3 months. Sounds dorky, but we're dorky, and need motivation. It should keep us busy!

We also joined a committee for a local event, for LGBT youth. We were given $10,000 for a one day event, and get to make it up from scratch. We're the decorating and catering people! This should take up ALOT of time too, especially with bi-weekly meetings, and getting everything organized. It's awesome because we get to meet a whole bunch of awesome people from around here. We already met one really awesome girl from Toronto, at the last meeting.

Also, today we went for lunch at a greek restaurant, and then popper over to this thrift store, just for shits and giggles. WE FOUND THE BEST CHAIRS EVER!! Seriously, they were $6 each (we got two) and they're old, retro vintage chairs, and they're green! And awesome. I'll take pictures after we pick them up tonight!! We also got two sundae or dessert bowl things, pictures later too. so cute

I decided this is going to serve as a bento blog. Maybe a little introduction?

I'm Hailey, I'm a 21 year old 4th year nursing student, and I'll be graduating in December (thank goodness!). I started bento-ing at the beginning of the last school year for a few different reasons. A) to save money B) I though it was neat idea C) to eat healthier. I've probably made close to 100 bentos, but I haven't taken pictures of all of them. Some of them definitely are not photo worthy.

I'm going to do a bit of a backlog of bentos, just to catch up.
